
Kabul/Kuala Lumpur, Feb 21 — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ (MoFA) special advisor on Afghanistan, Dato Haji Ahmad Azam Abdul Rahman met with Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Foreign Minister in Kabul yesterday.
In the meeting, both sides discussed the increase and transparency of humanitarian aid, the growth of Islamic banking, and the establishment and expansion of relations between the two countries.

Ahmad Azam said, “a plane carrying aid from Malaysian people will arrive in Kabul on February 23 and Malaysia will open an office in Kabul to coordinate aid and economic cooperation.“
During the meeting, Mawlavi Amir Khan thanked the Malaysian people for their assistance and called on Malaysia to cooperate in the marketing of Afghanistan’s important medicinal plants and dried fruits through the corridor for economic development.
